Each light is observed network activity reported by the Police2Peer project, placed at the nearest major city.

It is not a person, a household, an address or a confirmed offence, and it does not identify anyone.

The location comes from IP geolocation, which is approximate and can be wrong by hundreds of kilometres. Map locations are provided for awareness. A marker must not be read as identifying a particular person, household, property or offender.

The files involved contain only preventive messages placed by international police—no illegal content. The purpose is to prevent crime, safeguard children and offer help to those who need it.

If you come across suspected child abuse material, or believe a child is at risk, do not download, save or share it. Report it.
